Manpower Outsourcing Services, Inc. is seeking a Permit Coordinator to manage engineering and construction-related permits for telecommunications projects. You will work with OSP Engineers to create and review permit drawings and ensure compliance with jurisdictional ROW requirements.
You will prepare permit applications, track submissions, and coordinate with municipalities, state agencies, and contractors to maintain project schedules.
Manage all engineering and construction-related permits for telecommunications projects.
Work closely with OSP Engineers to create and review permit drawings and packages.
Ensure permit packages comply with jurisdictional and Right-of-Way (ROW) requirements.
Prepare permit applications, including traffic control, Department of Transportation, railroad, and complex lane-closure requirements.
Research permitting databases, requirements, standards, forms, and guidelines.
Determine permit and plan submission requirements for various jurisdictions.
Submit check requests and ensure timely permitting submissions.
Acquire all required permits to enable construction activities.
Track multiple concurrent permit submittals across multiple jurisdictions.
Prepare and maintain internal permit tracking reports and schedules.
Manage relationships with municipalities, state agencies, railroad authorities, and ROW contacts.
Communicate jurisdictional requirements, design specifications, permit lead times, points of contact, and special requirements.
Provide direct interface with contractors, jurisdictional authorities, and other project stakeholders.
Work with the project team to understand priorities and communicate permit package deliverables.
Prioritize permit submissions based on review times, lead times, and project schedules.
Maintain detailed records of communications and interactions with permitting agencies.
Coordinate required interactions to facilitate efficient and timely permit processing.
Work with engineering teams and vendors to resolve conflicts that arise during the permitting process.
Update standards and forms when required.
Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety policies.
Perform other related duties as assigned to support effective department operations.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the Telecommunications industry, installing and/or supporting voice, data, and video services.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
Familiarity with basic telecommunications terminology and infrastructure.
Experience working with multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

SharePoint experience is a plus.
Preferably experienced with AutoCAD and Google Earth, but not mandatory.
Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams, contractors, customers, and jurisdictional authorities.
Ability to listen to and understand customer requirements and work effectively within a team environment.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Strong self-starter who can think independently and perform effectively in challenging environments with limited supervision
