InspiringPG, Inc. is seeking an FTTH/OSP Project Engineer to oversee field implementation of fiber-to-the-home and outside-plant projects.
The role collaborates with clients, subcontractors, and internal roll-out teams to ensure work is completed per design, schedule, and quality standards, with on-site supervision and timely reporting. You will monitor progress, coordinate permits and BOQ reviews, and escalate risks to project leads.
The FTTH/OSP Project Engineer is responsible for supporting and overseeing the implementation of Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) and Outside Plant (OSP) projects. The role works closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal roll-out teams to ensure that project implementation is completed according to approved plans, specifications, timelines, and quality requirements. The successful candidate will provide on-site supervision, monitor project progress, and ensure timely reporting and resolution of implementation concerns.
Supervise, monitor, and provide technical support to subcontractors on-site during FTTH and OSP implementation.
Ensure implementation activities are carried out in accordance with approved design plans, specifications, and project requirements.
Maintain close coordination with roll-out teams throughout project implementation.
Monitor site activities and identify potential issues that may affect project timelines, quality, or deliverables.
Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to address and resolve implementation concerns promptly.
Review and support the preparation of design plans, Bill of Materials (BOM), and Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
Monitor project progress against approved plans and implementation schedules.
Report project progress, site concerns, and other relevant updates to the CPM, PM, and APM.
Prepare and submit Start-of-Day (SOD) and End-of-Day (EOD) reports through designated group messaging platforms.
Maintain accurate and timely project documentation and records.
Coordinate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project implementation.
Communicate project requirements, site updates, and concerns to relevant stakeholders.
Support coordination related to permitting requirements and other site implementation activities.
Escalate project risks, delays, and other concerns to the appropriate project leads.
Willing to be relocated to project areas as needed.
Support cross-functional projects and business initiatives, as assigned.
Perform ad hoc tasks and other related duties based on business requirements.
Perform other duties as may reasonably be assigned by the immediate superior.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
Relevant experience in the telecommunications industry is required.
Strong background and experience in FTTH and OSP implementation.
Knowledge and experience in preparing and reviewing Design Plans, Bill of Materials (BOM), and Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
Demonstrates knowledge of permitting requirements relevant to telecommunications and site implementation.
Strong communication and coordination skills for working with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Basic to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to effectively manage multiple tasks.
Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Willing to be relocated to different project areas as required.
