Job summary

WTA Architecture and Design Studio is seeking an experienced Plumbing Engineer to lead the planning, design, and coordination of plumbing, sanitary, drainage, water supply, and sewerage systems for building projects in Metro Manila. You will prepare calculations, drawings, and specs while ensuring compliance with codes and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Sanitary Engineering is required.
• Must be a Registered Master Plumber (RMP).
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in plumbing and sanitary system design for building projects.
• Strong knowledge of the National Plumbing Code, National Building Code, and other applicable regulations.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit/BIM experience is an advantage.
• Experienced in design calculations, technical specifications, and construction drawings.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge and experience in Fire Protection System Design is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of plumbing, sanitary, drainage, water supply, and sewerage systems.
• Prepare and review engineering calculations, design drawings, riser diagrams, specifications, and technical documents.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and other disciplines for proper system integration.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents when required.
• Provide technical solutions and design clarifications throughout project development.
• Review and ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Sign and seal plumbing and sanitary plans, designs, and other documents as required.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.

About the role
