Job summary

Deltek is seeking a Salesforce Development Tech Lead to guide and grow a Global Salesforce engineering team. You will mentor a mix of Administrators and Developers while remaining hands-on in building Salesforce features and ensuring best practices.

Ideal candidate has 6+ years of Salesforce development, experience across Sales/Service/Experience Cloud, and a declarative-first mindset. You will collaborate with a USA-based team and support global customers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

6+ years of Salesforce.com development experience.
Experience across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and/or Experience Cloud.
Proven people-leadership and technical-leadership experience with direct management of a Salesforce team.
Hands-on Lightning development experience: Apex, Flows, SOQL/SOSL, LWC.
Experience using Gearset or Copado and GitHub for CI/CD and release management.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and grow a Salesforce engineering team of Administrators and Developers.
Coordinate with USA-based team and support USA-based customers in a matrixed framework.
Remain hands-on in building Salesforce features across configuration and code.
Refactor solutions toward declarative approaches where possible.
Own SDLC improvements and multi-environment release strategy.
Build integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and tools like Workato with external apps.
