Job summary

Smart Cloud Consultants is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to join our fully remote engineering team. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable Salesforce applications, integrations, and APIs, leveraging declarative and programmatic features.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, lead code reviews, and mentor other developers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience of custom development with the Salesforce platform, including web services (REST/SOAP), Apex, SOQL.
• Experienced with Apex with solid understanding of coding patterns, frameworks and best practices.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration, including Agentforce, Flow automation, data modelling, validation and security.
• Experience with Source Control - i.e., GIT / SVN
• Knowledge of DevOps & pipeline deployment (CI /CD)
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and workflows
• Solid understand of Agile methodologies and working practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of customised Salesforce solutions, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Salesforce development, providing guidance and mentorship to other members of the development team
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers and architects to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient technical solutions.
• Conduct regular code reviews, ensuring best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines are met.
• Stay ahead of the latest Salesforce trends and technologies, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance system performance.
