Job summary

PwC is seeking a Salesforce developer to design, code, and implement Salesforce applications within a Salesforce consulting context. You will develop Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce to extend Salesforce to meet client requirements, participate in Agile ceremonies, and ensure secure, high-quality software.

Hybrid work setup in Makati City is expected. You should have 2–3 years of Salesforce development experience, Salesforce certifications beyond Admin, and strong English

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Engineering or related fields.
• 2–3 years of Salesforce development experience on Sales, Service, or Experience Cloud.
• Must have Salesforce certifications (at least one beyond Admin).
• Proficient in MySQL, Apex, JavaScript, and Visualforce.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills in English.
• Willing to work in a hybrid setup based in Makati City.

Responsibilities

• Accept user stories for development in the current sprint.
• Collaborate with Functional Lead, Developer Lead/Manager, and Technical Architect on requirements and approach.
• Design, code, and implement Salesforce applications (Apex, LWC/Aura, Visualforce).
• Develop components and pages (Lightning Web Components, Visualforce pages).
• Assist with release cycles and deployments of new/updated applications.

About the Role

• Accept assignment of user stories for development in the current sprint
• Work closely with Functional Lead to understand details of client requirements and solution design, Developer Lead/Manager and Technical Architect to ensure a clear understanding of the requirements and approach for work items under development.
• Designing, coding, and implementing Salesforce applications.
• Application development, including basic Visualforce pages/Lightning pages, Lightning Web Components.
• Assist with each release cycle to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code.
• Testing the stability and functionality of the application.
• Troubleshooting and fixing bugs.
• Maintaining the security and integrity of the application software.
• Develop Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components, and Visualforce to extend Salesforce in order to support business requirements
• Contributing to technical documentation.
• Responsible for the execution of the development / build activities.
• Attend Agile/Scrum stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives to plan, design, code, and review development tasks.

About You:

• Bachelor’s degree graduate (e.g., IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or other related disciplines)
• Required skills:salesforce development, LWC/Aura experience, at least 1 salesforce certification except admin, exposure to any salesforce platforms (e.g. sales, service, experience cloud)
• At least 2 to 3 years of salesforce development experience with any of the platforms such as sales, service, experience cloud etc.
• Proficient in MYSQL, Apex, JavaScript, Native, and VisualForce.
• Ability to problem solve high-level software and application issues.
• Strong ability to design, code, build out solutions, and implement salesforce applications.
• Ability to produce deliverables within a diverse and fast paced environment.
• Excellent communication and listening skills in English.
• Ability to foster a positive working environment by building relationships with team members and clients.
• Must be willing to work in a hybrid setup based in Makati City.
