Job summary

ABB is seeking a Sales Support Specialist, Quotations - Critical Power, in the Philippines. You will support sales growth by preparing accurate, competitive quotations for critical power solutions, coordinating the bid process, and ensuring timely proposal delivery.

You will work closely with sales, customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to manage risk and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

Your role and responsibilities

As a Sales Support Specialist, Quotations - Critical Power, you will play a key role in supporting ABB's sales growth by preparing accurate, competitive, and technically compliant quotations for critical power solutions. Working closely with sales, customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, you will manage the end-to-end bid and quotation process, ensuring timely proposal delivery, effective risk management, and an exceptional customer experience.

You will be mainly accountable for

• Prepare competitive quotations, bids, and tenders for Critical Power solutions by developing technically and commercially sound proposals that align with customer requirements, ABB standards, and business objectives.
• Coordinate and manage the end-to-end quotation process, including cost estimation, technical documentation, pricing preparation, vendor evaluation, risk identification, and tender submission within established timelines.
• Provide technical and commercial support to Sales teams and customers by understanding project specifications, participating in customer discussions, and recommending the most suitable ABB solutions and product configurations.
• Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, vendors, and cross-functional teams to obtain required technical and commercial information, monitor bid progress, maintain proposal documentation, and analyze tender outcomes to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications for the role:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in quotations, bid management, proposals, sales support, application engineering, or technical sales within the electrical, power, automation, or industrial sectors.
• Strong understanding of Critical Power solutions such as UPS systems, power protection, data center infrastructure, power distribution systems, or related ABB and competitor offerings.
• Experience preparing technical and commercial quotations, tenders, cost estimates, and contract documentation for industrial or commercial customers.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, customer requirements, single-line diagrams, and project documentation to develop accurate and competitive proposals.
• Strong analytical, commercial, and risk assessment skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with customers, vendors, sales teams, and internal functions.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, integrity, compliance, and ethical business practices in line with ABB's values and standards.
