Buskowitz Energy Inc. is seeking a technical sales professional to generate leads, design solar energy solutions, prepare proposals, and close sales.
You will serve as the key technical expert, translating customer needs into engineering-focused options and driving deals from feasibility to sign-off. Ideal candidates have a 2–5 year track record in technical sales in solar or renewables, a relevant engineering degree, and hands-on experience with PV design tools.
You will be responsible for generating leads, designing solar energy solutions, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and closing sales. You will act as the key technical expert during the sales process, bridging the gap between customer needs and engineering solutions.
Identify and develop new business opportunities in residential, commercial, and industrial solar markets.
Conduct site assessments and load analysis to determine feasibility of solar solutions.
Prepare detailed technical proposals, cost estimates, and financial models (ROI, payback period, etc.).
Present and explain solar solutions to clients in a clear, technical, and persuasive manner.
Collaborate with design and engineering teams to develop optimal system designs (PV panels, inverters, storage).
Support negotiations and contract closing with customers and partners.
Stay updated with solar industry trends, regulations, and new technologies.
Maintain relationships with existing customers, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or related field.
2–5 years in technical sales, preferably in solar PV, renewable energy, or electrical systems.
Experience with solar system design, load calculations, and financial feasibility analysis
Knowledge of solar PV design tools (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope, AutoCAD).
Understanding of relevant standards and regulatory frameworks.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to build strong relationships.
