Job Description

The position of Sales Engineer consists of selling equipment, consumables, accessories and other products of the company to industrial customers, by combining technical know-how with selling skills to develop the market for the company’s range of advanced welding and cutting solutions and related products, with the following main duties and responsibilities:

• Identify sales opportunities through direct prospecting, lead follow up, market research, networking and partner relationships
• Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge about the company products and solutions
• Manage sales process through qualification, needs analysis, solution presentation, negotiation and closing the sale
• Build and develop growing relationships with our customers
• Meet regular sales targets and goals
• Implement sales plans and strategies
• Prepare reports, surveys, forecasts and projections
• Provide technical assistance and after-sales support
• Prepare and send quotations or proposals
• Conduct and facilitate the demonstration or testing of equipment or products
• Assist in the installation and commissioning and the training of customers on the use of the products
• Liaise and assist with warehouse, delivery, credit & collection, service and other departments, when necessary, to resolve any related issues with customer

Qualifications

• Graduate of either Business Management or Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics Engineering is a plus
• Preferably with experience in sales and/or welding technology due to the nature of our products
• Can work under pressure and minimal supervision
• Dynamic, outgoing, resourceful, self-motivated, creative and a team player
• With excellent oral and written communication skills in English
• Has valid driver’s license (Restriction 1 or 2)
