SUMMARY
This is a highly hands-on sales leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, directly managing performance, and executing daily sales oversight. The Sr. Sales Manager must be in the trenches daily: reviewing sales activity, monitoring metrics in real-time, engaging in opportunities, joining calls and emails, and working closely with each rep to unblock deals and accelerate pipeline velocity.
This role requires discipline, curiosity, and accountability, with no room for passive oversight. Success will be measured not just by revenue, but by the manager's direct impact on daily sales execution, responsiveness to data trends, and ability to coach in real-time. This role is not for a manager who prefers to work only at a strategic level. We are explicitly seeking a sales leader who is operationally embedded, data-obsessed, and relentlessly focused on execution.
The expectation of this role is to retain and grow current books of business while closing new opportunities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Execution & Opportunity Management
- Monitor daily sales performance, conversion metrics, and individual rep activity across all channels (calls, emails, CRM entries).
- Personally engage in high-priority opportunities — join sales calls, support deal strategy, and intervene where velocity stalls.
- Personally accountable for approving pricing and clearing customer objections to help conversions and seeking further approvals within given guidelines.
- Audit daily activity in CRM and enforce full opportunity tracking and hygiene — no deal should go unmonitored.
- Work closely with SDRs and Inside Reps to identify gaps, respond to leads, and move opportunities forward quickly.
- Provide tactical coaching in real-time, daily — not just in weekly 1:1s.
- Maintain high visibility across all pipeline activity.
Team Leadership
- Foster a performance-driven culture based on discipline, responsiveness, and accountability.
- Conduct daily standups or check-ins, ensuring goals are aligned, blockers are cleared, and daily targets are understood.
- Personally train and coach sales staff to improve closing techniques, objection handling, and deal qualification.
- Personally review books of businesses and re-arrange as needed. Understand that accounts are owned by the Company and not by individuals. Be comfortable to make any changes upcycle or downcycle to further align with Company objectives, and not personal objectives.
- Build a resilient, data-literate team that embraces transparency and feedback.
Data & Process Discipline
- Own and maintain accurate dashboards, pipeline reports, and forecast accuracy — report insights daily to leadership.
- Ensure CRM tools and reporting systems are used consistently and correctly by all team members.
- Identify underperformance immediately and create action plans — no waiting for monthly reviews.
Collaboration & Strategic Input
- Act as the voice of the Philippines sales team in cross-functional meetings — bring forward client feedback and team needs.
- Partner with Ecommerce, Marketing, RevOps, SalesOps, and leadership to support lead quality, marketing and merchandising campaigns effectiveness, and tool optimization.
- Help scale proven processes — but never at the expense of tactical execution and data fluency.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities.
- Report all activities to VP of Ecommerce with transparency and accountability.
