Schedule: Dayshift (9am-6pm)
Responsibilities
- Inbound Lead Generation: Follow-up on inbound sales inquiries to generate new sales opportunities and pipeline.
- Prospecting: Identifying potential Tenable clients through various inbound channels such as product evaluation requests, product demonstration requests, form fills requesting to be contacted by a Tenable representative, webinars, live chat, marketing content downloads, etc. Prospecting also includes using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify additional relevant stakeholders to include in the sales process.
- Lead Qualification: Engaging with prospects via telephone, email, and/or digital channels to understand their security needs, challenges, and existing or upcoming projects to implement or replace a preventative cybersecurity solution.
This will include ensuring that leads are nurtured through regular follow-ups until they are ready to engage with the sales team.
- Qualification Criteria: Using Tenable's SDR‑specific criteria to determine if a lead is qualified and a good fit for the company's products and services.
- Appointment Setting: Arranging meetings or demos between qualified leads and the sales team.
- CRM Management: Maintaining accurate records of interactions with leads in the CRM system.
- Pipeline Management: Tracking the progress of leads through the sales pipeline to ensure timely follow‑ups and updates.
- Collaboration with Sales Team: Feedback Loop – Providing feedback to the sales team on lead quality and market insights. Strategy Alignment – Working closely with the sales team to align outreach strategies and target markets.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills; be able to communicate in a clear, constructive, and professional manner.
Qualifications
- Computer navigation skills and multitasking.
- Basic‑level familiarity with operating systems.
- Working knowledge of Cybersecurity technologies, Networking, or system administration.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in managing a team of tech sales representatives (preferably in a technical program).
- Familiarity with the basics of data analysis and intermediate knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, are required for strategic planning and business reviews.
- Experience in managing a team of sales experts in a SaaS environment.
- A bachelor's degree or associate degree is preferred but not required.
