Job summary
Fumaco Incorporated in Metro Manila seeks a field-based role, the point person coordinating with architects, interior designers, and lighting consultants on major projects. Your goal is to have our products specified at design stage and to see the specification through to close, hitting sales targets while maintaining margins.
This role requires reading plans, presenting technical proposals, and building strong relationships with design firms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Electrical Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related.

- Get Fumaco products written into specifications early.
- Read plans, understand project requirements, and recommend the right technical solution.
- Prepare and present specification packages, mock-ups, and technical proposals.
- Find new accounts through networking, industry events, and cold outreach.
- Negotiate terms and close deals while protecting margin, against an agreed sales quota.
- Submit regular sales reports and forecasts, and keep the CRM current.
- Coordinate with technical, procurement, and project teams.

Job description
You'll be Fumaco's point person with the architects, interior designers, and lighting consultants working on Metro Manila's major projects. The job is to get our products specified at the design stage, then see that specification through to the close and hit your targets.
- Build and own relationships with architects, interior designers, lighting consultants, and design-build firms
- Get Fumaco products written into specifications early
- Read plans, understand project requirements, and recommend the right technical solution
- Prepare and present specification packages, mock-ups, and technical proposals
- Find new accounts through networking, site intelligence, industry events, and cold outreach
- Negotiate terms and close deals while protecting margin, against an agreed sales quota
- Submit regular sales reports and forecasts, and keep the CRM current
- Coordinate with technical, procurement, and project teams
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Electrical Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related
- At least 2 years in specification sales, construction, lighting, or building products — or a design background looking to move into sales
- Able to read architectural and electrical plans
- Proficient in MS Office; AutoCAD, SketchUp, DIALux, or CRM experience a plus
- Builds rapport easily and is comfortable walking into a design firm cold
- Credible with designers — can discuss color temperature, glare, CRI, and controls without reading off a brochure
- Calm under tender deadlines and competing project demands
- Self-directed and owns your numbers
- Interested in design and how buildings come together
