About the role

Singapore Interior Pte Ltd is seeking a talented Sales Designer to join our team in the Aljunied Central Region on a full-time basis. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between client aspirations and design excellence, combining sales expertise with interior design knowledge to deliver outstanding customer experiences. You will be responsible for translating client needs into compelling design solutions whilst driving revenue growth and building lasting client relationships. This position is fundamental to our business success, as you will be instrumental in converting prospects into satisfied clients and establishing Singapore Interior Pte Ltd as the preferred choice for interior design solutions.

What you'll be doing

• Consulting with clients to understand their design requirements, lifestyle preferences, and budget constraints

• Presenting design concepts and visual proposals that align with client expectations and company offerings

• Preparing detailed quotations and design packages, highlighting value and project timelines

• Conducting site inspections and measurements to gather essential information for design development

• Collaborating with the design and project management teams to ensure seamless project execution

• Building and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the design and sales process

• Identifying new business opportunities and actively pursuing leads to achieve sales targets

• Following up with clients post-project to gather feedback and encourage referrals

• Staying informed about current design trends, materials, and product offerings to provide expert recommendations

• Preparing and maintaining detailed client records and project documentation

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in interior design sales or a similar client-facing design role within the interior design industry

• Strong understanding of interior design principles, spatial planning, and contemporary design aesthetics

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly to diverse audiences

• Demonstrated ability to manage the sales process from lead generation through to project closure

• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools

• Knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, and procurement processes within the interior design sector

• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage client expectations professionally

• A portfolio demonstrating previous interior design projects or sales achievements

• Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams

• Tertiary qualification in Interior Design, Spatial Design, or a related field is advantageous

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

• Proficiency with design visualisation tools and Microsoft Office applications
