The Sales Consultant is responsible for promoting the company’s products to the food service industry through consultative selling, product education, and strong relationship building. The role requires a deep understanding of the company’s products, their applications, and the ability to collaborate with key decision-makers such as owners, general managers, and head chefs. This position plays a vital role in strengthening partnerships, identifying opportunities for innovation, and supporting the company’s growth objectives within the food service sector.
Develop in-depth knowledge about the company’s history, mission, and vision to effectively represent its values and brand identity.
Gain strong product knowledge, covering product source, processing, and various food applications, to confidently present solutions to clients.
Build and maintain connections with key decision-makers of client companies, such as owners, general managers, and head chefs, to foster progressive discussions on ideation, collaboration, and partnership.
Conduct research on the assigned customer cluster (e.g., hotels, international and local restaurant chains, coffee shops, food caterers, and independent food accounts).
Stay informed about the latest industry and food trends and monitor the activities of emerging players in the market.
Actively participate in relevant industry groups and associations (e.g., Restaurants and Chefs associations) to expand professional visibility and learning.
Continuously establish and grow a professional network within the food service industry to uncover new opportunities and partnerships.
Bachelor’s degree in Tourism/Tourism Management, Hospitality Management, Culinary or any related field.
At least 1 year experience.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Pleasing and professional personality with the ability to represent the company with confidence and integrity.
Demonstrates professionalism in appearance, observing proper grooming and attire suited to every occasion.
Willing and available for travel and fieldwork across client sites
Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to dynamic industry requirements.
