Yamaha Motor Philippines seeks a Safety Supervisor to lead safety operations across its Batangas sites. You will oversee teams, enforce standards, and ensure DOLE, BFP and PEZA compliance.
The role requires an Engineering degree, 3+ years in manufacturing safety, and SO4 certification, with strong HIRADC and ISO 45001/14001 knowledge. You will drive audits, trainings and continuous safety improvements.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversees and manages team operations, ensures task completion, monitors performance of teams, and supports efficiency and adherence to company standards.
Ensures timely submission of safety-related reports, permits and licenses required by DOLE, BFP, and PEZA.
Attends and supports regular and surprise inspections from regulatory agencies.
Tracks occupational and traffic accidents across all YMPH sites and ensures proper documentation.
Facilitates assessments and recommends improvements to maintain safe and healthy working conditions.
Plans and oversees Occupational Safety and Health audits across all YMPH sites.
Initiates safety programs, recommends technical training, and supports continuous improvement of safety processes and KPIs.
Performs other related duties that may be assigned from time to time by his/her immediate superior.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of any Engineering or 4-Years course;
With at least 3-years of experience as a Safety Supervisor in a Manufacturing set-up;
Certified Safety Officer 4 (SO4)
With experience in transacting with DOLE, BFP and PEZA
Familiar with HIRADC, ISO 45001 and 14001; Environmental Management System (EMS) & Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) principles.
Capable of planning drills, understanding emergency equipment, and guiding ERT qualifications.
Skilled in reviewing HIRADC, planning Work Environment Monitoring, and assessing PPE requirements;
Proficiency in interpreting Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Globally Harmonized System (GHS) pictograms;
