Job summary

Aice Philippines Ice Cream, Inc. is seeking an experienced Safety Officer to lead Health and Safety initiatives across multiple shifts.

You will conduct risk assessments, ensure compliance with RA 11058 and DO 252-25, inspect PPE and emergency equipment, and maintain safety records and reports. You will train staff and coordinate OSH programs, participate as Secretary and member of the Health and Safety Committee, conduct drills, investigations, and implement corrective actions to sustain a safe

Qualifications

• 5+ years of OSH experience in high-risk industries.
• Strong knowledge of RA 11058 and DO 252-25.
• Familiarity with ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.
• Familiarity with DOLE mandated reports and compliance submissions.
• Competence in drill execution (fire, earthquake, evacuation, emergency response drills).
• Ability to design and implement a comprehensive safety program.
• Experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
• Capacity to initiate and sustain safety initiatives across all departments.
• Must conduct training and seminars for all stakeholders to ensure awareness and compliance.
• Ability to draft and implement policies aligned with OSH standards and organizational requirements.

• Handle safety violations and implement appropriate corrective actions.

• Maintain safety documentation, accident records, and reports.
• Serve as Secretary and member of the Health and Safety Committee.
• Provide guidance on health and safety matters and support OSH program implementation.
• Conduct and assist in accident investigations, government inspections, and OSH-related activities.
• Monitor workplace health and safety and issue Work Stoppage Orders (WSO) when necessary.

Job Requirements

• At least five (5) years of relevant OSH work experience in high-risk industries

Knowledge & Competency Requirements

• Strong knowledge of OSH legal requirements under RA 11058 and DO 252-25

• Familiarity with reportorial requirements (DOLE mandated reports and compliance submissions)

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

• Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) – 40 hours
• Construction Occupational Safety and Health (COSH)
• Advanced OSH Training – minimum 48 hours relevant to high-risk industries

• Demonstrates leadership in coordinating safety activities across multiple shifts
• Supervises compliance implementation and ensures corrective actions are enforced
• Amenable to Shifting Schedule (Tri-Shift)
• Workdays: Monday to Saturday
