DMCI Homes is seeking a Safety Officer to oversee safety management for ongoing projects in Batangas, including Solmera Coast and Calubcub II areas. The role involves conducting inspections, hazard analyses, toolbox talks, and enforcing safety plans, with responsibilities for incident investigations and coordinating with DOLE inspectors.
The ideal candidate has a four-year degree, COSH training, and at least one year of safety experience, with strong knowledge of OSH standards and reporting
Graduate of any four (4) year course
With at least one-year (1) work experience in field of safety management is an advantage
With a certificate on Construction Occupational Safety and Health (COSH) Training
Proficient on preparing job hazard analysis, inspection/safety and DOLE compliance reports
Knowledgeable on occupational safety and health standards
Adept on assessment, inspection and analysis of workplace hazard and risks
Skilled in preparing safety or accident report
Willing to be assigned to our project site in Solmera Coast, Brgy. Calubcub II and Brgy. Subukin, San Juan, Batangas.
Conducts workplace safety inspection to ensure zero loss time accidents
Conducts hazard analysis of work instruction methods and procedures
Conducts toolbox meetings to remind workers and employees on ensuring tools, equipment and work stations are safe to avoid any form of accident.
Reviews and approves all work permits and safety plans
Evaluates risks and hazards to determine and immediately enforce preventive and corrective actions
Leads the implementation of safety program
Conducts investigations of all accidents and near-misses
Promotes safety practices and enforces safety guidelines at the job site
Performs emergency response drills
Receives reports from and responds to orders issued by Department of Labor inspectors
