OCS Philippines is seeking an experienced HSE Engineer to develop, implement and monitor health, safety and environmental policies in alignment with local and international standards. You will conduct inspections, risk assessments, audits, and lead incident investigations with root-cause analysis.
You will coordinate with regulatory bodies, supervise pollution control and waste management, and deliver training on occupational health and safety for staff and contractors, while maintaining HSE
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with local and international standards.
Conduct regular inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
Lead incident investigations and prepare detailed reports with root cause analysis and preventive measures.
Coordinate with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
Supervise pollution control measures and ensure proper waste management practices are in place.
Provide training and awareness programs on occupational health and safety to employees and contractors.
Maintain and update HSE documentation, including permits, reports, and certifications.
Support the implementation of ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety) standards.
Registered Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related discipline).
Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in environmental, health, and safety compliance.
Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, occupational health and safety standards, and quality control systems.
Professional Certifications are highly desirable:
Pollution Control Officer (PCO) Accreditation
DOLE-accredited Safety Practitioner (SO3 or higher)
