Job summary

Salmon Bank (Rural Bank) Inc., the banking arm of Salmon Group Ltd., seeks an Safety Officer 3 to implement and monitor OSH programs and promote a safe workplace. The role requires coordinating with HR and management on safety concerns and assuring compliance during inspections and DOLE reviews.

The incumbent will conduct safety training, maintain records, investigate incidents, and drive continuous safety improvements in Mandaluyong City, Philippines.

Qualifications

• 40-hour basic OSH training course applicable to the industry
• At least 2 years of experience in OSH
• 48 hours of advanced or specialized occupational safety training
• Bachelor’s degree (any course)
• Knowledge of DOLE compliance and reportorial requirements
• Filipino nationality only
• Willing to work full-time in Mandaluyong City

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor OSH programs and policies.
• Conduct workplace inspections and identify hazards and risks.
• Recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses.
• Conduct safety orientations, training, and awareness activities.
• Monitor compliance with safety rules and procedures.
• Support emergency preparedness and safety drills.
• Maintain safety records, reports, and required documentation.
• Coordinate with HR, management, supervisors, and employees on safety concerns.
• Assist during DOLE inspections and ensure timely resolution of safety findings.
• Promote a positive safety culture and continuous improvement.

About the role
