Job summary

Private Advertiser is looking for a Safety Officer 2 (SO2) to help ensure a safe, compliant and accident free workplace. You will implement and monitor safety programs, conduct inspections, risk assessments and toolbox meetings on-site in Bataan.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Engineering or Safety, SO2 certification, and 2+ years’ experience. Willingness to work overtime and coordinate drills is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related field is an advantage.
• Dole recognized Safety Officer 2 (SO2) certification/training.
• Must have completed the required 40-hour BOSH training applicable to the industry.
• Preferably with at least 2 years of relevant experience in occupational safety.
• Experience in construction, industrial, heavy equipment, crane, or engineering operations is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable in Dole Osh Standards, hazard identification, risk assessment and safety procedures.
• With experience conducting toolbox meetings, safety inspections and incident/accident investigation.
• Good communication, leadership and documentation skills.
• Willing to work on-site in Bataan.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends or holidays when required.
