Job description
Job Responsibilities:
Set a personal example.
Check area against weekly checklist - provision of safe place of work.
Discuss with PM/PIC the weekly/daily work plan and ensure all hazards are identified with these tasks.
Assist PIC in carrying out pre-job toolbox talks on hazards identified and changes in safety rules on site from previous days’ observations.
Continuously carry out site inspections to ensure that only safe work practices are in operation, that health and safety requirements are being complied with, and welfare facilities are adequate and properly maintained.
Stop the work of anyone not in compliance with safe working practices and discuss their failings to promote behavior safety.
Identify unsafe conditions and ensure that corrective actions are quickly put into place.
Ensure that access, escape, ingress, and egress are maintained at all times.
Advise the PIC and subcontractors on safe work practices and company safety requirements.
Liaise with client’s HSE management team and comply with their requirements.
