  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to conduct training sessions and prepare technical reports.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management software.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and company health and safety regulations.
  • Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports.
  • Organize and conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and emergency response drills.
  • Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure proper usage.
  • Maintain safety records, reports, permits, and documentation.
  • Perform risk assessments and recommend preventive measures.
  • Coordinate emergency preparedness plans, including fire safety and evacuation procedures.
  • Work with management and employees to promote continuous safety improvement.
  • Ensure contractors and visitors comply with site safety requirements.
  • Monitor environmental health and safety practices to minimize workplace risks.
