Job summary

OCS seeks a Safety Officer for an on-site, full-time role in the National Capital Region of the Philippines. You will implement and monitor health, safety, and security policies across facilities, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company standards while maintaining strong customer relations.

Carry out site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits, document findings with corrective actions, and support operations and project teams in safety planning.

Qualifications

• Must have a 4-year degree or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar safety role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with risk assessment and inspections.
• Good understanding of engineering terms.

Role Description

The Safety Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in the National Capital Region, Philippines. This role is responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, and security policies across assigned facilities to ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards. The Safety Officer conducts regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits, and documents findings with clear corrective actions. The position requires maintaining positive customer relations and monitoring of project employees. Ensure that accounts operate efficiently and its profitability. Responsible for all administrative functions of the assigned projects including operations, management, process planning and improvement and various compliance identification and implementation.

Qualifications

Must be a graduate of any 4-year course. (Preferably Engineering)

At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.

Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.

Experience with risk assessment and inspection.

Understand engineering terms.

• Candidates should possess strong Health & Safety and Occupational Health skills, with knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Candidates should possess Accident Investigation skills, including incident analysis, root cause identification, and corrective action planning.
• Candidates should possess Security skills to support safe facility operations and coordinate with security teams when needed.
• Candidates should possess Safety Training skills, with experience delivering briefings, toolbox talks, and safety awareness programs.
• Relevant certifications in occupational health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or local equivalent) are highly beneficial.
• Experience in facilities management, construction, or industrial environments is an advantage.
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills are required.
• Ability to work on-site, conduct field inspections, and respond promptly to safety concerns within the National Capital Region.
