Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, occupational health and safety, industrial hygiene, environmental science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in pipe-layering works with construction or waste management.
• DOLE or DOLE-accredited training and ability to implement an OSH program.
• Knowledge of DOLE requirements and compliance.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good verbal communication skills and ability to work with a team.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations, risk assessment and management, and accident investigation.
• Excellent writing skills for reporting.
• Has BOSH and COSH certification and Safety Officer Certification.

Responsibilities

• Conducts site inspection to be aware of potential hazards in the workplace.
• Assist external auditor / inspector (Client, LGU, Government Sector etc.).
• Formulate HIRAC [Hazard Identification Risk Assessment Control].
• Keeps up to date on latest safety regulations as directed by DOLE.
• Identify all hazards and conduct risk assessments during regular safety inspections.
• Make necessary corrective measures during inspection as needed to prevent accident.
• Complies with DOLE requirements and ensures a safe and healthy environment for all workers assigned in the project.
• Investigate all incidents, accidents and near misses with recommendations for improvements in safety standards.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and train workers on safety topics required by OSHA.
• Prepares reports related to Health, Safety, Security and Environment.
• Performs other duties as may be assigned or required.

Qualification

• 2. Experience:
• With 5 years above in pipe-layering works and relevant experience in a construction industry / waste management.
• DOLE or DOLE-accredited Training Organization and can implements an OSH program
• Knowledgeable with compliances with DOLE requirement
• 3. Skills:
