Job summary

Private Advertiser in the Philippines seeks a Safety Officer to implement policies, train staff, and ensure regulatory compliance across projects. You will lead incident investigations and maintain safety records while collaborating with managers to embed safety in daily operations.

The ideal candidate has two years of college with a DOLE-accredited safety credential and proven safety program experience. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years in college or equivalent required.
• DOLE Accredited Safety Officer certification preferred.
• Experience in safety management and incident investigation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement comprehensive safety policies, procedures, and training programmes.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Provide safety-related training and education to employees, ensuring awareness of safety practices and procedures.

Job Description:

• Implementing comprehensive safety policies, procedures, and training programmes

• Investigating incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence

• Providing safety-related training and education to employees, ensuring they are fully aware of safety practices and procedures

• Collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to integrate safety considerations into all aspects of our operations

• Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to safety activities, incidents, and compliance

• Staying up-to-date with industry best practices, safety regulations, and relevant legislation

• Facilitates the formation of Safety Committees and trains its members

Qualifications:

• Completed at least 2 years in college

• 3 years of experience in Safety Functions

• Knowledgeable of the environment, safety and health rules implemented by the LGUs.

• Computer literate (Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint)

• Good in written communication, interpersonal & organizational skills

• Confident, strong willed, self -motivated and with integrity with passion for HSE, BOSH, COSH, Loss Control Management and other related courses
