Job summary

Max's Group, Inc. in Carmona, Cavite seeks a seasoned Occupational Safety and Health leader to oversee safety programs across our manufacturing operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in OSH or related field and at least 5 years of OSH experience, including 2-3 years in supervision. You will lead hazard identification, risk assessments, incident investigations, and regulatory compliance with DOLE and Philippine OSH laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant OSH experience.
• 2–3 years in supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Experience in food/manufacturing or similar operating environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine OSH laws and DOLE requirements.
• Experience in hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk control (HIRAC).
• Experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
• Proficient in safety documentation and performance monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise safety programs across Carmona, Cavite operations.
• Identify hazards, assess risks, and implement controls to prevent incidents.
• Conduct incident investigations and root cause analyses.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine OSH laws and DOLE regulations.
• Develop emergency preparedness and response plans and safety training.

Job description

• Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Occupational Safety and Health.
• At least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Experience in food manufacturing, industrial manufacturing, or a similar operating environment is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine OSH laws and DOLE regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk control (HIRAC).
• Experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of emergency response, fire safety, and disaster preparedness.
• Familiarity with LOTO, Permit-to-Work, machine safety, and industrial hazard controls.
• Proficiency in safety documentation, reporting, and performance monitoring.
• Appropriate DOLE-accredited Safety Officer training and qualifications commensurate with the company's classification and applicable requirements.
• BOSH or COSH training, as applicable.
• First Aid, Basic Life Support, and Fire Safety training are advantageous.
• Extensive expertise in occupational safety and health management
• Ensures accurate, timely readiness in regulatory compliance and documentation
• Exhibits exceptional capability in conducting incident investigations and risk management
• Demonstrates strong proficiency in developing emergency preparedness and response
