Job summary

SAN MIGUEL GLOBAL POWER HOLDINGS CORP. is seeking a Mining OSHE professional to support the QES Head in implementing and monitoring safety, health, and environmental programs within mining operations.

The role focuses on complying with CMSHR, DOE, EMB, DENR, and MGB regulations to maintain high safety standards. Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor's in Mining Engineering, OSH certification, and at least two years of mining safety experience, with strong knowledge of environmental compliance and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or any related course.
• Certified Safety Professional or an accredited Safety Officer under the OSH standards of DOLE.
• Must be knowledgeable in MGB regulations, permitting requirements, and compliance standards applicable to mining operations.
• At least two (2) years of experience in coal mining or as a Safety Inspector in the mining industry.
• With knowledge of environmental compliance, hazard identification, safety inspections, and regulatory requirements applicable to mining operations.

Supports the QES Head in implementing and monitoring Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental (OSHE) compliance programs in mining operations to ensure adherence to the Coal Mine Safety and Health Regulations (CMSHR) of the Department of Energy (DOE), environmental standards of the Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) under the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), and applicable regulations of the Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB).

Qualifications
