Job summary

IBEX Global Solutions (Philippines) Inc. seeks a Safety Supervisor to act as the employer’s principal assistant in applying safety programs and removing workplace hazards. You will support the Health and Safety Committee, coordinate training, and help inspect and document safety performance.

Responsibilities include conducting accident investigations, maintaining records, reporting to management, and ensuring compliance with DOLE credentials. Shift work is expected in a BPO environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College degree in any field.
• At least 1 year of working experience as Safety Officer in a BPO setting or related field is required.
• Preferably 1-4 years experience in Engineering - Environmental/Health/Safety or equivalent.
• Willing to work on shifting/graveyard schedule.
• COSH, BOSH & LCM holder (SO3) - Any DOLE training credentials

Responsibilities

• Serve as Secretary to the Health and Safety Committee.
• Acts in an advisory capacity on health and safety matters for employer and workers.
• Investigates accidents and submits separate report and analysis to the employer.
• Coordinates health and safety training programs for employees and employer.
• Conducts health and safety inspections as a committee member.
• Maintains or helps maintain an efficient accident record system and coordinates corrective actions.
• Provides assistance to government agencies during inspections or investigations.
• Reports directly to the employer when full-time safety officer is required.
