Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Scrum Master to help teams deliver value through effective Scrum and SAFe practices while maintaining transparency across an Agile Release Train. You will facilitate ceremonies, remove impediments, and partner with product and release roles to manage risks and dependencies.

Responsibilities include coordinating PI Planning, facilitating Scrum of Scrums, and coaching teams to improve delivery outcomes with strong communication and collaboration across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant work experience.
• 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master for a software development team.
• Strong knowledge of Agile principles and Scrum practices.
• Strong experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) ceremonies and events.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
• Strong coaching and conflict resolution skills.
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate PI Planning and Sprint ceremonies including planning, stand-ups, refinement, reviews, demos, and retrospectives.
• Facilitate Scrum of Scrums and PO syncs to surface risks and cross-team dependencies.
• Partner with product owners, product managers, and RTE to plan stories based on team capacity.
• Remove impediments and guide the team to resolve blockers through coordination and creative problem solving.
• Track dependencies across multiple teams and align with other Scrum Masters to resolve them.
• Analyze sprint data to identify risks to sprint goals and propose mitigations.
• Monitor Agile metrics and take corrective actions to improve delivery outcomes.
• Coach the team on Agile practices and principles to maximize quality and business value.
• Support internal communication to improve transparency and information flow.
• Facilitate discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution within the team and across stakeholders.
• Assess current ART-level practices and collaborate with RTE to implement improvements.
