Job summary

Avvoka is building cutting-edge legal drafting technology and scaling globally from Manila. This role focuses on owning the agreements behind growth, including SaaS subscriptions, DPAs, and data protection commitments, with direct reporting to the General Counsel and close collaboration with commercial teams.

You’ll negotiate detailed marksups with leading law firms, banks, and enterprises, draft and update standard terms, and design scalable legal processes to support rapid growth while

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with 2–4 years' PQE in private practice or in-house.
• Solid grounding in SaaS licensing and commercial contracts.
• Hands-on experience negotiating detailed markups with sophisticated counterparties.
• Working knowledge of UK GDPR, DPAs, and sub-processor terms.
• Able to separate legal from commercial issues and advise accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and close customer contracts, including SaaS licenses and related terms.
• Draft, review, and negotiate subscriptions agreements, NDAs, DPAs, and partner terms.
• Advise on data protection and commercial questions, escalating to GC as needed.
