About the role

Excel Coil Coating Corp. is seeking a Roofing Estimator to join our talented team in San Fernando, Pampanga. As a Roofing Estimator, you will be responsible for inspecting properties, taking precise measurements, calculating material costs, and preparing profitable project bids. This role involves technical estimation and coordination with sales, requiring a balance of construction knowledge, mathematical accuracy, and strong communication skills. What you'll be doing

• Site Inspections: Climb ladders to inspect residential, commercial and industrial structures, assess structural integrity, and take precise measurements.

• Cost Calculation: Compute accurate estimates for roofing materials and hardware.

• Software Utilization: Use Excel Spreadsheets and AutoCAD to generate accurate material takeoffs and detailed plans.

• Team Collaboration: Coordinate with site engineers, sales admin staff, and purchasing staff to confirm current material pricing, availability, and project timelines.

• Client Management: Coordinate with the Sales Engineer to manage project requirements, timelines and timely updates.

What we're looking for

• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of residential/commercial/industrial roofing systems, materials, warranties, and local building codes.

• Math & Analytical Skills: Strong ability to calculate square footage, roof pitches, waste factors, and profit margins accurately.

• Physical Capabilities: Comfortable climbing ladders, walking on sloped roofs, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Tech Literacy: Proficiency with AutoCAD and basic spreadsheet applications (Excel/Google Sheets).

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent (Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is a plus).

• 2+ years of experience in roofing installation, construction estimation, or roofing sales.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for traveling to site locations.
