Job summary

PETRONAS Energy Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Logistics and Road Transport Operations Excellence Lead to develop and implement programs focused on HSE compliance, contractor and fleet management, cost optimization, and continuous improvement.

The role requires leading training for drivers, helpers, and transport partners, collaborating with cross-functional teams and JV partners to enhance transport operations, resolve issues, and enforce safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least three (3) years of experience in logistics, supply chain, fleet management, road transport planning, or related functions, preferably in the oil or LPG industry.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of LPG regulations, road transport laws, Philippine National Standards (PNS), and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives and build effective relationships with government agencies, industry experts, and key stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, SAP, enterprise asset management systems, web-based technologies, and presentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Logistics and Road Transport Operations Excellence programs focused on HSE compliance, contractor and fleet management, cost optimization, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct training and competency development for drivers, helpers, and transport partners to ensure compliance with operational and safety standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, third-party haulers, and joint venture partners to improve transport operations, resolve issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Provide operational analysis and support to ensure efficient delivery operations, prevent stock run-outs, and achieve service level targets.
• Manage transport-related financial and administrative activities, including hauler billing, payment reconciliation, loss and gain monitoring, budget management, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Promote a culture of operational excellence, safety, innovation, and compliance while supporting strategic projects, business continuity, vendor relationships, and other management-assigned responsibilities.
