Job summary

Xurpas Inc invites an experienced Network Engineer to design, deploy, and manage Riverbed Steelhead appliances and Cisco routing/switching solutions to boost performance and application acceleration. You will monitor networks with SolarWinds and ThousandEyes, troubleshoot incidents in production, and document configurations and procedures while collaborating with cross-functional IT teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of network engineering and WAN optimization experience.
• Strong understanding of LAN/WAN technologies and enterprise networking concepts.
• Experience supporting production network environments and handling critical incidents.
• Must-have: Riverbed Steelhead, RiOS, Riverbed WAN Optimizer (RS WAN Optimizer), Cisco routing and switching, network monitoring and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and manage Riverbed Steelhead appliances and Cisco routing/switching solutions to improve network performance and application acceleration.
• Monitor and analyze network performance using tools such as SolarWinds, ThousandEyes, and The Dude.
• Troubleshoot network issues, identify bottlenecks, and perform root cause analysis to minimize downtime and improve service reliability.
• Manage network-related incidents, problems, and change requests using ServiceNow (SNOW).
• Perform routine maintenance activities and participate in on-call support rotations for critical incidents (P1/P2).
• Develop and maintain accurate network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to support business and operational requirements.
