Job summary

Xurpas in Taguig is seeking a Network Engineer with 2+ years of experience to design, implement, monitor, and support enterprise network infrastructure across LAN, WAN and data centers.

You will deploy Riverbed Steelhead appliances, manage Cisco routing/switching, and monitor performance using SolarWinds and ThousandEyes. You will handle incidents via SNOW and maintain documentation while collaborating with IT teams in a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in network engineering and WAN optimization.
• Strong understanding of LAN/WAN technologies and enterprise networking concepts.
• Experience supporting production network environments and handling critical incidents.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and manage Riverbed Steelhead appliances and Cisco routing/switching solutions to improve network performance and application acceleration.
• Monitor and analyze network performance using tools such as SolarWinds, ThousandEyes, and The Dude.
• Troubleshoot network issues, identify bottlenecks, and perform root cause analysis to minimize downtime and improve service reliability.
• Manage network-related incidents, problems, and change requests using ServiceNow (SNOW).
• Perform routine maintenance activities and participate in on-call support rotations for critical incidents (P1/P2).
• Develop and maintain accurate network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to support business and operational requirements.
