CTBC Bank (Philippines) Corp. in Manila seeks an Operations Risk Manager to assist the Department Head in developing and implementing risk management programs for branch and head office operations.
You will coordinate training with HR, prepare regulatory and risk reports, review processes for efficiency, and evaluate automation projects for compliance and cost-effectiveness. Strong knowledge of BSP regulations and AMLA with supervisory experience is required.
Assists the Department Head in developing and implementing branch and head office operation risk management program.
Suggests, formulates and designs training programs in coordination with Department Head and HR to familiarize all operations personnel with risks and corresponding control measures.
Prepares, summarizes and analyzes all operations regulatory and risk reports for submission and evaluation of the Department Head and Compliance Officer.
Perform review of existing processes and suggest process improvements to maximize branch and head office operations productivity and efficiency.
Evaluates automation projects to ensure best practices and pre-defined business objectives are met particularly in cost-effectiveness and compliance with regulatory and internal risk management requirements.
Identifies and assess the operational risks and suggests corresponding control measures whether upon formulation of policy, design of systems and processes or upon detection of weakness in review and audits.
Identifies, monitors, assess and controls material risks in branches and directly coordinates with Compliance, Operational Risks Management and Audit and other Units for its mitigation.
Monitors branch's compliance to existing policies and procedures.
Monitors branch's compliance on regulatory and operational issues to achieve satisfactory audit rating.
