Job summary

Pepper Money UK is seeking a Lead Credit Risk Analyst to be based in our Manila office with a hybrid work arrangement. You will mentor junior analysts and support the Head of Credit Risk in delivering strategic priorities, while developing BI solutions and predictive models to drive portfolio insights.

You will build and monitor analytical models, create dashboards, and deliver ad‑hoc reporting to inform business decisions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Degree educated or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Credit Risk.
• Proven experience leading and coaching analysts.
• Strong background in data analytics, visualisation, predictive modelling and analytics.

Shift pattern:

Mid‑shift – 4pm MNL to 1am MNL

Working Model:

Hybrid, 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

Are you our new Lead Credit Risk Analyst?

Work will be based in our Manila office.

What you will be doing

• Support and mentor junior analysts
• Support the Head of Credit Risk in delivering CCRO strategic priorities.
• Develop and enhance management information, reporting, and business intelligence solutions.
• Create interactive dashboards and provide actionable portfolio insights.
• Build, deploy, and monitor analytical models to support business decision‑making.
• Deliver ad‑hoc reporting, business intelligence, and data analysis across the business.

What we are looking for

• Proven experience leading and coaching analysts.
• Strong background in data analytics, visualisation, predictive modelling and analytics, including Probability of Default (PD), Loss Given Default (LGD), and pre‑payment forecasting and leveraging credit bureau data for credit risk analytics and decisioning forecasting, and machine learning.
• Experience with Python, SQL, Power BI, Azure Data Factory, or similar tools.
• Sound knowledge of credit risk and portfolio management within the mortgage industry is desirable.
• Experience within financial services, ideally across multiple business functions.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills.
