Job summary

Manulife Global Risk Intelligence & Technology (GRIT) seeks a Manager to design, enhance, and scale automated reporting and dashboards across Market, Liquidity, and Reinsurance Asset Risk. You will collaborate with actuarial, finance, risk, and engineering teams to deliver scalable analytics solutions.

You will drive adoption of AI/GenAI, ensure data governance, and provide ongoing production support while shaping the analytics ecosystem with Power Platform, Azure, and Databricks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years in analytics, BI, reporting automation, digital transformation, or risk technology functions.
• Advanced proficiency in Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
• Strong hands‑on experience developing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling best practices.
• Experience building low-code and pro‑code applications, workflow automations, and integrated business solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Experience designing, deploying, or supporting AI‑powered solutions, including Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, AI Builder, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other programming languages for data analysis, automation, system integration, and advanced analytics use cases.
• Knowledge of financial services, insurance, banking, risk management, governance, or regulatory reporting processes is desirable.
• Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions and influence adoption across multiple functions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain analytics dashboards and digital solutions supporting Market Risk, Liquidity Risk, and Reinsurance Asset Risk oversight capabilities.
• Partner with global risk stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable reporting, analytics, and automation solutions.
• Lead the development of risk intelligence dashboards and monitoring capabilities to support market and liquidity risk oversight and reporting.
• Develop advanced data visualizations and self-service reporting solutions for Asset Intensive Reinsurance treaties that provide actionable insights to senior management and risk management committees.
• Drive the adoption of AI and Generative AI capabilities to enhance risk commentary generation, reporting, data quality monitoring, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to data governance, controls, and risk management standards across all analytics, reporting, and digital enablement initiatives.
• Provide ongoing production support, platform enhancements, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement for financial risk technology solutions and processes.
