Job summary

Angkas in the Philippines seeks a Safety Trainer to be assigned to Cagayan de Oro. The role will conduct Safety Riding Seminars, onboarding activities, driver training programs, and rider accreditation to ensure regulatory compliance.

The position also monitors training quality, maintains trainee records, and collaborates with Operations to improve rider readiness and safety performance across service areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Safety Riding Seminars or driver training.
• Valid LTO Professional Driver’s License (2-wheel and 4-wheel).
• TESDA Driving NC II certification.
• 40-hour Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) training completed.
• Experience operating both 2-wheel and 4-wheel vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine traffic laws and road safety.
• Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms).
• Own a personal motorcycle and willing to relocate or travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Safety Riding Seminars and onboarding training for new drivers.
• Ensure training materials and procedures meet company standards.
• Assess rider understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
• Process driver accreditation and onboarding after training.
• Maintain attendance, training results, and processed drivers records.
• Monitor onboarding targets and training quality; support operations.
• Collaborate with Operations and Safety to improve rider readiness and safety.
• Promote safety and compliance among drivers.
