Job summary

Angkas in Laguna, Philippines is seeking a Safety Trainer to lead Safety Riding Seminars and onboarding for new drivers. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with safety standards, road regulations, and internal procedures, while maintaining accurate trainee records and coordinating with operations for rider readiness.

The ideal candidate brings at least 2 years of relevant training experience, valid driver’s licenses for 2- and 4-wheel vehicles, and certifications in BOSH and TESDA NC II.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (4-year program) in any field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in facilitating Safety Riding Seminars or driver training programs.
• Valid LTO Professional Driver’s License (2-wheel and 4-wheel vehicles).
• TESDA Driving NC II certification.
• Completed 40-hour Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) training.
• Experience operating motorcycles and cars.
• Strong foundation in defensive driving and road safety.
• Knowledge of Philippine traffic laws and road compliance.
• Experience conducting rider performance assessments.
• Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms).
• Own a personal motorcycle.
• Willing to travel or be assigned to different locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Safety Riding Seminars and onboarding training sessions for new drivers.
• Ensure training materials and procedures are delivered according to company standards.
• Assess rider understanding of safety protocols and road regulations.
• Process driver accreditation and onboarding requirements after training completion.
• Maintain records of attendance, training results, and processed drivers.
• Monitor onboarding and driver processing targets.
• Coordinate with Operations and Safety teams on rider readiness and deployment.
• Promote safety and compliance culture among drivers.
