Job summary

Turnitin, LLC is building an analytics foundation to support Revenue Operations across Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, and Finance. The role owns data models, pipelines, and tests, and champions robust, scalable dbt implementations on Redshift.

This is an early-stage function with influence on how data products are shaped and used. You will design end-to-end data models, streaming and batch pipelines, and contribute to governance and documentation while guiding a remote-first analytics

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or Business Intelligence with substantial hands-on modeling responsibility.
• Proven experience building and maintaining production-grade dbt projects, including testing and documentation.
• Hands-on production experience with Dagster or Airflow.
• Advanced SQL and real experience with Amazon Redshift (or Snowflake / BigQuery), including performance tuning.
• Git-based workflow, code review, and CI as a normal part of how you work.
• Strong working knowledge of the Salesforce data model.
• Python for data work and automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the migration of legacy workflows into documented, tested dbt models on Redshift.
• Design models with clear lineage and grain, towards certified marts.
• Own orchestration, monitoring, and alerting in Dagster or Airflow, and the ingestion layer.
• Keep Redshift fast and cost-effective.
• Trace issues to root cause and route fixes to reporting, data model, or business process.
• Build data foundations behind RevOps initiatives like account-based marketing and health scoring.
• Explore and adopt AI/LLM tooling thoughtfully in the engineering workflow.
