Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience in architectural drafting within the Australian residential construction industry.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit for architectural drafting and BIM workflows.
• Working knowledge of NCC, ResCode, Australian Standards, and Australian residential construction methods.
• Experience preparing construction documentation for Australian residential projects.
• Ability to interpret design briefs, tender and variation documents, engineering drawings, and builder mark-ups.
• Ability to identify potential construction and compliance issues from drawings and documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to drawing accuracy.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Able to work independently and manage deadlines in a remote work environment.
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable work-from-home setup.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed architectural and construction drawings for Australian residential projects, including site plans, floor plans, elevations and sections.
• Develop and maintain accurate Revit BIM models, families, and templates.
• Ensure drawings comply with NCC, ResCode, and Australian Standards.
• Interpret design briefs, tender documents, engineering docs and builder mark-ups.
• Refine drawings with designers and builders to resolve technical issues.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure drawings are buildable and coordinated.
• Follow client procedures, drafting standards, and documentation requirements.
• Manage project deadlines and file organization in a remote/cloud workflow.
• Communicate revision status and project requirements to the team.
