Optum is seeking a strategic leader to guide multiple Financial Clearance teams. You will drive operational excellence, client satisfaction, and revenue cycle performance while ensuring compliance and talent development.

You will manage Supervisors, SMEs, and frontline leaders; lead workforce planning, performance management, and process optimization; build strong client relationships and oversee patient access operations to improve productivity and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) experience or healthcare account experience.
• Minimum 3 years of operations leadership experience.
• Proven experience managing Supervisors, SMEs, and multiple operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple Financial Clearance teams to achieve operational, financial, and client objectives.
• Manage Supervisors, SMEs, and frontline leaders to ensure high team performance and accountability.
• Drive operational excellence through workforce planning, performance management, and process optimization.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact for operational discussions and escalations.
• Oversee Financial Clearance functions including insurance verification, prior authorization, and patient access operations.
• Monitor and analyze operational, financial, and client performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, payer requirements, organizational policies, and compliance standards.
• Lead talent development initiatives, including coaching, succession planning, and leadership development programs.
• Champion continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity, quality, and customer experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive business goals and strategic initiatives.
