Job summary

ECO SAVERS GROUP VENTURES INC. is seeking a Retail Sales Accountant to monitor and record retail sales across all branches, ensuring accurate transactions and timely reporting.

You will reconcile branch cash collections with deposits, verify records against receipts and POS data, and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales analyses while coordinating with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Audit teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and sales transactions.

About the role

Retail Sales Accountant is responsible for monitoring and recording retail sales transactions across all branches. The position ensures accurate sales records, proper reconciliation of collections and deposits, timely recording of transactions, and preparation of regular sales and accounting reports.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily retail sales transactions from all branches and record and consolidate sales reports submitted by branches

• Check sales data for completeness and accuracy and monitor sales performance and report unusual variances or discrepancies

• Reconcile branch sales against cash collections, deposits, and other payment transactions

• Verify sales records against official receipts, invoices, POS reports, and other supporting documents

• Investigate and coordinate discrepancies with concerned branch personnel

• Maintain accurate accounting records of retail sales transactions and review branch sales reports and supporting documents

• Monitor daily collections and bank deposits of retail branches and track outstanding or unremitted collections

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly retail sales reports and consolidate sales data from all branches

• Maintain complete and organized sales and accounting records and assist in internal and external audits

• Coordinate with Branch Sales, Operations, Finance, Accounting, and other concerned departments

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Management Accounting, Accounting Technology, or related course

• At least 1–2 years of accounting experience

• Good knowledge of accounting principles and sales transactions

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems

• Good numerical and analytical skills
