Job summary

SAFESTEP PHILIPPINES OPC is seeking a Project Coordinator to support planning, scheduling, and vendor coordination for mall construction projects in Mandaluyong. You will assist project managers, monitor milestones, and help ensure timely delivery of FF&E and interiors.

The ideal candidate holds a relevant bachelor’s degree and 2–4 years in project coordination or retail construction, with strong communication and multitasking skills to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• 2 to 4 years in project coordination, retail operations, or mall construction fit-outs
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project tracking tools (CAD, MS Project, Asana)
• Ability to read and interpret architectural layouts, blueprints, or design specs

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers in building action plans, tracking milestones, and setting delivery deadlines.
• Liaise with general contractors, suppliers, and external service providers for material deliveries and installations.
• Coordinate with mall administration or building management for permits and turnover requirements.
• Monitor shipment, storage, and setup of FF&E and merchandise display units.
• Conduct site inspections, track deliverables, and compile status updates for management.
• Maintain contracts, blueprints, permits, and cost quotations.
• Address site hitches, delays, or resource conflicts and escalate blockers to the PM.
