Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management is seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee network and system infrastructure in the Philippines. You will direct networking, ensure 99.9% uptime, and lead migrations across all branches, including Retail Pro and Barter POS/BXI systems.

You will drive cybersecurity, access controls, and data integrity while managing NAS, email, and regulatory compliance. Reports via Crystal Reports/QlikView will support decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in BSIT, BSCS, or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in Systems Administration or IT Management, preferably in a retail environment.
• Deep experience in Network Security, Sophos Firewall configuration, and WAN management.
• Proven track record in managing Barter POS and NAS configurations.
• Ability to lead complex migrations and system implementations.
• Demonstrated experience in people management and team development.

Responsibilities

• Network & Infrastructure Administration.
• Directly manage and optimize the company's Networking infrastructure, ensuring 99.9% uptime.
• Expert-level administration of Sophos Firewalls, ISP links, and secure wireless connectivity across all branches.
• Oversee NAS setup, configuration, and data redundancy.
• Retail Systems Architecture; manage Retail Pro and Barter POS/BXI systems.
• Lead the rollout of POS systems to new stores, including hardware setup and links.
• Cybersecurity & Access Control: enforce strict IT security protocols and user access controls.
• Manage and secure the corporate domain email and overall system health.
• Regulatory & Data Compliance: ensure POS systems comply with BIR permit applications and standards.
• Manage Customer Master data and inventory groupings within the system.
• Business Intelligence & Reporting: develop reports (Crystal Reports/QlikView) to support decisions.
