Job summary

International Toy World, Inc. is seeking a Retail Store Supervisor to assist the Store Manager in smooth day-to-day operations and exceptional customer service.

You will lead sales efforts, engage customers on the shop floor, and ensure standards for branding, housekeeping, and promotions are consistently met. The role requires 1–3 years of supervisory experience in retail, a BA in business-related field, and strong leadership with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field is required.
• 1–3 years of supervisory or management experience in retail or service environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed the company’s sales goals and service standards on a consistent basis.
• Create additional sales opportunities by promoting and suggesting other appropriate items.
• Attend store meetings and training sessions to develop skills.
• Adhere to policies and standards to achieve sales targets.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Spend time on the selling floor meeting customers and assisting staff.
• Follow cash handling policies and procedures; participate in safety and security standards.
• Assist in maintaining brand image and housekeeping; ensure promotions are accurate.
• Assist in implementing safety measures in line with corporate standards.
• Support inventory management: receiving procedures, transfers, pricing, counts, and inventories.
• Maintain inventory and ensure items are in stock.
• Coordinate with Warehouse Supervisor to align warehousing with selling needs.
• Organize and distribute staff schedules; motivate and guide retail staff to meet targets.
• Ensure staff comply with policies including uniform and grooming.
