Job Summary
The Restaurant Manager oversees overall restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, team management, administrative functions, financial controls, procurement, compliance, guest experience, and business performance. The role ensures efficient operations, excellent service standards, cost control, and consistent implementation of company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily front-of-house operations, opening and closing procedures, service standards, and operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction, sales, profitability, and overall performance.
- Monitor reports, trends, feedback, and operational issues; recommend improvements and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Owners and management in achieving business goals.
2. Team Management & Development
- Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and develop service staff including servers, bartenders, and hosts.
- Conduct briefings, coaching, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Maintain accountability, professionalism, attendance, grooming, and compliance with company standards.
- Ensure proper coordination between front-of-house and kitchen teams.
3. Guest Experience & Service Standards
- Maintain high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, service quality, and restaurant presentation.
- Handle guest concerns professionally and implement service recovery measures.
- Monitor guest feedback and identify opportunities to improve satisfaction and loyalty.
- Implement initiatives to increase sales, customer retention, and average guest spending.
- Support promotions, partnerships, events, and revenue-generating activities.
- Monitor sales targets and encourage effective suggestive selling.
5. Finance & Cost Control
- Support bookkeeping, expense monitoring, petty cash, invoices, billing, and financial reporting.
- Review financial documents, transactions, and approvals for accuracy.
- Monitor cash handling, discounts, voids, inventory usage, and operating expenses.
- Implement cost-control measures while maintaining quality.
7. Procurement & Inventory Management
- Coordinate purchasing, supplier relationships, quotations, deliveries, and documentation.
- Monitor inventory levels, minimize waste, and investigate variances.
- Maintain proper stock availability for food, beverages, and operating supplies.
8. Events & Special Operations
- Coordinate private dining, events, catering, and special guest requirements.
- Ensure proper planning, staffing, execution, billing, and post-event follow-up.
- Work closely with kitchen, service, and management teams for successful event delivery.
9. Compliance, Safety & Maintenance
- Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, permits, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor restaurant facilities, equipment, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain accurate operational, safety, and compliance records.
10. Administration & Communication
- Maintain organized records, reports, permits, contracts, schedules, and operational documents.
- Coordinate communication between Owners, departments, suppliers, and external partners.
- Track action items and ensure timely completion of assigned responsibilities.
- Handle confidential company, financial, guest, and employee information responsibly.

- Support other branches, departments, events, and company initiatives as required.
- Perform other duties assigned by Owners or management based on business needs.
