DPP Retail Inc in Imus City, Cavite is seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead our restaurant operations. This is a full-time role responsible for financial performance, staff leadership, guest satisfaction and operational excellence.

You will ensure health and safety compliance, manage vendor relations, develop marketing initiatives and report KPIs to head office while building a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive restaurant management experience.

About the role

DPP Retail Inc is seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead our restaurant operations in Imus City, Cavite. This is a full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to take charge of all aspects of restaurant management, from financial performance and staff leadership to customer experience and operational excellence. The Restaurant General Manager will be responsible for driving profitability, maintaining service standards, and creating a positive workplace culture whilst ensuring compliance with all health, safety and regulatory requirements. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional dining experiences and achieving our business objectives.

Key responsibilities

1. Oversee all daily restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, training and performance management to ensure smooth service delivery


2. Manage financial performance through budgeting, cost control, revenue optimisation and P&L accountability to drive profitability


3. Maintain and enhance customer satisfaction by establishing and enforcing service standards, managing guest interactions and addressing complaints effectively


4. Recruit, train, motivate and develop restaurant staff across all departments, fostering a strong team culture and supporting career progression


5. Ensure compliance with health, safety, food hygiene and labour regulations, maintaining comprehensive documentation and conducting regular audits


6. Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts and maintain inventory control to optimise supplier costs and product quality


7. Develop and implement marketing initiatives to drive customer acquisition, retention and brand awareness within the local market


8. Maintain restaurant facilities, equipment and décor to the highest standards, coordinating maintenance and upgrades as necessary


9. Conduct regular staff meetings, provide coaching and performance feedback, and implement continuous improvement initiatives


10. Liaise with head office on strategic initiatives, report on key performance indicators and contribute to long-term business planning

What we’re looking for

1. 5+ years of progressive restaurant management experience, preferably in a multi-outlet or high-volume dining environment


2. Strong financial acumen with proven experience in budget management, cost control and P&L responsibility


3. Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams in a fast-paced environment


4. Comprehensive knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards and compliance with local health regulations


5. Outstanding customer service orientation with a track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences


6. Proficiency in restaurant management systems, point-of-sale (POS) software and MS Office applications


7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers and external stakeholders


8. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure


9. Flexible and adaptable approach to work, with willingness to work varying hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required


10. Preferably, experience with Filipino cuisine or familiarity with the Philippine hospitality market would be advantageous
