Job summary

JRK Biomedical Inc. is seeking a Licensed Respiratory Therapist (RTRP) to provide professional respiratory care and support within licensed scope in Cebu City, Philippines. You will manage ABG/PFT, respiratory equipment, and education for patients and caregivers.

The role requires collaboration with physicians, nurses, and hospital RTs, with travel to various sites and strict adherence to infection control and patient safety standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed Respiratory Therapist (RTRP) credential or equivalent.
• ABG interpretation & PFT/spirometry competency.
• Respiratory equipment operation & troubleshooting.
• Ability to coordinate with physicians, nurses, RTs & customers.
• Willingness to relocate to Cebu City.
• Willingness to travel to hospitals, clinics, and sites.
• Infection control and patient safety commitment.

Responsibilities

• Perform systematic respiratory assessments and monitor patient status.
• Apply critical care thinking by assessing, prioritizing, intervening, and escalating when needed.
• Recognize respiratory distress, hypoxemia, hypercapnia, and potential failure.
• Provide respiratory therapy interventions within licensed scope and competency.
• Support oxygen therapy, CPAP, BiPAP/NIV, HFOT when applicable.
• Interpret ABGs and correlate with clinical presentation.
• Perform PFT/spirometry when assigned, including coaching and basic interpretation.
• Operate and troubleshoot respiratory equipment.
• Provide clinical product demonstrations, in-services, equipment orientation, and patient education.
