Job summary

Virgin Beach Resort Laiya in the Philippines is seeking an HR professional to manage recruitment, payroll, and employee relations for a resort team. The role covers onboarding, records, benefits administration, and compliance with Philippine labor laws.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field and 2–3 years of HR experience in hospitality. Weekend availability and proficiency with MS Office/HR systems are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field.
• 2-3 years of HR experience, preferably in a hotel or resort.
• Experience in payroll and statutory benefits administration.
• Knowledge of Philippine labor laws and government-mandated benefits.
• Good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office/Google Workspace and HR or payroll systems.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment, interviews, hiring, and onboarding of resort employees.
• Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
• Prepare and process payroll, including attendance, overtime, leave, deductions, and other payroll inputs.
• Administer statutory benefits and government contributions, including SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG, and ensure timely processing and compliance.
• Monitor attendance, leave, schedules, overtime, and other employee time records.
• Handle employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
• Coordinate employee orientation, training, engagement activities, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable Philippine labor laws.
• Assist with manpower planning and HR requirements during peak seasons, holidays, and special events.
